This tutorial was created using Paint Shop Pro version 7 but should be able to be created in all versions of Psp.   Word of Warning:  this tutorial has a lot of toggling colors :)

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro (Trial Version)

Unplugged Effects

Mask here (Yali04 mask)

Graphic here

Silver pattern here

Let's get started on our frame.

1.  Open your image in Psp; Shift+D to make a copy of your image.  Close out your original graphic so you will have it for future use; we will be working with the copy of the graphic.

2.  Select two colors from your graphic to use on your frame; make one of your colors a dark color from your graphic and the other color a medium/light color.    Set your dark color as ;your background color and your medium/light color as your foreground color.  I'm using #1F2F46 for my dark background color and #8B95B8 for my medium/light foreground color.

3.  Now we need to set up our silver pattern.  Click on the arrow on the right hand side of your background color box.  Select the nine little dots (symbol for patterns); then click on the left hand side of your background color box to open the pattern selection window.  Click on the arrow that is beside the pattern preview window and a screen will pop up showing all your patterns.  Select the Zilver pattern Angle 0 Scale 100%

4.  Image/Add Borders 2 pixels symmetric checked.  With your magic wand (tolerance 0 feather 0), click on your 2 pixel border to select.  Selections/Invert.  Effects/3D Effects/Cutout using the settings shown below:

Opacity 100; Blur 30; Vertical 0; Horizontal 0; Shadow Color #1F2F46
